5wt saltwater tropical fly line

Recommended Posts

It you want to over line it by 1 there's a sa saltwater titan taper on Sierra trading post for 30 bucks. I've been using the non saltwater version on my 8 wt I like it a lot casts and fishes well doesn't get nasty in the high 90s or low 100s.

If you already have a 5wt rig just wash it very good afterward and clean the line and treat it.

What I do with my 5wt tarpon and gator trout rig.

That's why I built that 3wt a couple weeks back. It's my new ditch tarpon rod.

I use my freshwater and its held up fine. True I don't fish in temperatures some tropical folk face but the line copes with sand and salt no prob.

ended up getting a SA bonefish mastery

I've always liked the Mastery lines and how they handle. I hope you are pleased with it !
