  1. I got a nice box from mikemac1. Thank you and I will be putting them to good use this coming spring and summer Joshpilon08
  2. I got mine today. Thanks again. Good catch on the address. I must have forgotten to tell you I moved.
  3. Thanks nick. Been a long year so far. Between a two year old, work being outrageous on overtime, buying and remodeling our new home it's been quite a year. Even my tying time took a hit. I'm glad to be back. Josh pilon
  4. Nick, After a long hideous, count me in on this one. I missed it last year I think I will go with a simple trout box. Josh
  5. I own the peak rotary vise now. I searched through a lot of cheaper vises and never truly found one I liked. Then as a birthday present a couple years ago my wife bought the peak for me. Hands down worth the little extra she paid for it. The for christmas she bought me the rest of the accessories for it, the d-arm, the waste basket, and the material clip. She even bought the midge jaws for it so I can work on smaller flies.
  6. So I decided to stray away from steelhead flies and start work on some flies for small trout streams out by the new house. I focused in on elk hair caddis, and a few san Juan worms. I didn't end up tying as much as I should have. The wife and son got sick a few days later. So we've all been quarantined together now.
  7. Mikechell, so far I had a fever Monday night with chills and sweats, tuesday fever went away. Today I feel fine. Health department says I still need to isolate. Stinks but will manage.
  8. Hello everybody. Been a long time since I checked in. Been a busy and strange year. Everything from car wrecks to buying a house and this virus floating around. I started feeling ill monday night and tested positive for COVID tuesday. Now I'm stuck in a room in our basement with a few creature comforts. I even mobilized my tying bench once again. Question is I'm looking for ideas on what I should be tying. I want to stick around great lakes winter steelhead flies. Once I'm out of this isolation phase I'm hitting the river. If I have the materials on hand I'll give whatevers thrown at me a go and post picture later on. I hope everyone has a merry christmas and happy new years as well. Good luck and stay healthy. 9. Its $25 dollar for the year here in NY. We dont do trout stamps and other stuff like that.
  10. I wish I had your talent sir. Maybe someday after the house is finished and I get my workshop set up I will dabble into the world of knife making. Always been an interest of mine.
  11. Vicente....I'm really interested in see how this shapes up. For handle black with brass bands would look kinda cool to me.
  12. I'm in. I'll submit a half dozen bass streamers this year. I will find time with the new baby to get them tied and out in the mail asap.
  13. I own it. Full of different and interesting patterns. I only had it a couple weeks and have yet to try any pattern. Thus far it's been a good buy. Bit pricey but so far worth it.
  14. I keep the bumps in the night right where the judge sent them. I'm a corrections officer for New York state.
