  1. OK, I'll give them a shot with the baking soda/borax mix. I'd like to start using these things but without the odor
  2. I've been going through my tying collection, paring down and trying to donate where possible to some local groups & charities. I stumbled across a set of a half dozen rear snowshoe hare feet for tying Usuals and emerger patterns - hardly used and looking pretty much as new.. When I opened the Ziploc I was floored by the smell - absolutely bad and then I remembered why I never used these. I am assuming this is because the flesh and other parts never really go away because they are not tanned or treated like on many other furs. So what can be done to 'treat' these to improve the smell or at least reduce the current odor?
