  1. I don't like eating any fish. Hate 'em all. I just can't stand the taste, and I have tried many different cooking styles, and recipes, what ever my wife orders for herself, I take a nibble. I tried styles from RI down the Hatteras and on to SC. Give me a steak or ribs, and I am in heaven. :headbang: I love fishing though.!!! MrBones
  2. Try here... http://rotaryflytying.com/ and here... http://www.btsflyfishing.com/ I haven't seen either one, so I can not compare them. MrBones
  3. also, there is flysource at flysource.net. I don't use the share part, but I do like the copy and paste part instead of typing in each step/material. MrBones
  4. Well, lets see....I have over $2200.00 invested in my vise collection alone. In the thirty years of tying flies, all but 2 commercially, I wouldn't even dare or want to estimate materials value. I know there are many here that have more than I do too. MrBones
  5. MTtyer, also isolate the fly. Elevate the fly (vise or mini clip) and place a nondescript background many inches away from the fly. MrBones
  6. Thanks Art, I looked, I thought, everywhere. The little buggers were hiding on me. MrBones
  7. Artimus, I have to ask, how did you override the program to be able to save them separate from their program? Thanks for the headsup. MrBones
  8. I'll be there bright and early. MrBones

  10. Shaq, I may be able to dig something up from down here in PA. Charles Meck wrote an article for Pennsylvania Angler years ago of mayfly hatches and cooresponding plant blooms. I don't think he went in depth, but at least some information. It may take some time, I'll see what I can find. MrBones
  11. Nice, well thought-out area longears. Must be a little machinist in ya also. I'll be studying your images for awhile. Thanks for posting. MrBones
  12. That's character! I love the converted cabinet /Ulf. I would actually like to see all member's tying area. I need some ideas for a couple of things as I work on my new bench. Come on tiers, show us what ya got. O.K.,,,,,, please. Forgot to add, good job Caddisfly. Real good workmanship. MrBones
  13. Thanks Duckydoty, that will change in the next day or two. I have an order on my computer desk for 4 dozen hoppers and 4 dozen crickets for a client. Nothin' like deer hair to make a disaster area fast. MrBones
  14. I thought that I would post mine here before I make a major change to it. Well, actually making another bench for the new Nor-vise so it will look different. http://www.myfishingpictures.com/img/014352.jpg (in case the image doesn't show up. MrBones
  15. I never considered it. First, because it's illegal in Pennsylvania to dope or add scent to flies. Plus I don't feel the need in streams and rivers, by the time the fish "scented" the fly, it's gone. Of course, I fish on top almost exclusively, so my opinion wouldn't count anyways. LOL MrBones
