  1. I quit using Zap years a go mainly because of the issues of not able to get the damn bottle open and once you did, the shit was almost hard or the whole bottle became a block of CA Glue. Suggestions of keeping it refrigerated was not an option for me, because it still seized up in a short period of time within a few applications. LOCTITE is the shadizzle! I use both the gel and brushable. once opened it has long bench life and never have any trouble with getting them open.
  2. My new pattern "The Madame Fluoro" They have some killer action and can't wait to swim these and see if they get a lot of grabs... and add more color combos.
  3. More color phases of my Medusa Mini Intruders
  4. Must be a long tunnel...still can't see the light! East coast flies outbound for the West Coast. The drag will be screamin soon!
  5. Hook: Daiichi 1530 Bead: Spirit River black nickle Thread: black Uni Thread 8/0 Tail: black pheasant tail fibers Abdomen: black Hareline Dub Thorax: blue steelie (solid) & red (solid) Hareline Ice Dub Wing Case: black medallion sheeting topped off with CCG Legs: blue & red guinea fibers
  6. It is in my professional opinion, that if you are right handed, it would be natural for the individual tyer to have the vice at your left hand side...end of story.
  7. My newest nymph pattern the "Dragoon" in in blue and red color scheme.
  8. News flash to all members in the Pittsburgh and surrounding area. I will be at International Angler Saturday, September 28 from 10am - 4pm. The venue is free to all and are welcome to bring your vice to join me as I tie some of my most popular Steelhead Flies. I will also demo some new Hareline products due to hit the shelves in about a week.
  9. It's a mosquito that I'm tweaking for a competition. Legs are too long, but I'll get it to where I like it.
  10. Really nice, what did you use for legs? Moose body
