  1. Steeldrifter you are correct I haven't tied before. I just have the feeling I will really enjoy tying because I like building things with my hands and also the pride of catching something on what I tied would be really neet.
  2. I decided I will start out cheap and and upgrade later. Thanks for putting me on the right path guys. tight lines-Scott
  3. Thanks for all the great help guys. I really appreciate it. I feel a little embarresed about spelling vise wrong, but hey no one is perfect. tight lines-Scott
  4. I want to start tying my own flys and would like to know what vice is the best for the money. I could get something around 60-70 dollars, maybe a little more. Or even just a good starter kit would be great. Also could you recommend a good book or video that could get me started. Thanks in advance for the help. tight lines-Scott
  5. Hey everyone! I'm 15 and originaly from Texas, but have been living in North Carolina now for 3 or 4 years. I have fished for bass with baitcasting gear for about 5 years and have recently been turned on to fly fishing. Someone told me that once I started fly fishing I wouldn't want to do anything els. Wouldn't you know it, he was right. I have absolutely fallen in love with the sport and now fly fish for bluegill and trout. Being that I'm new to the sport I hope you guys don't mind that almost all of my posts will be questions, half from me and half I will be asking for my dad. tight lines ya'll-Scott
