I have my reel seat mounted to a 6 wt and it itself is solid... but the reel does not sit snugly inside when locked down. it has play inside of the female pieces on both ends laterally and furthermore the locking mechanism doesn't seem to bite down well AT ALL!

Here is the model and I note that it saih heavier weights but regardless, with and 8wt reel on it still is not any different. The owner of the company told me to send it back which was OK but that doesn't help when its mounted already sad.gif I chucked a reel onto it initially and i didn't notice the problem at the time,... seemed ok! now just super let down sad.gif
