Yeah any kind of baitfish or shrimpy fly will work on snook. White, black n purple, and tan are great color schemes for them. Just make sure to use saltwater hooks on the flies..
C'mon and join in, really want to add some new flies to my snook box!

What's a good hook size for these?
I tie from #4 up to 1/0. The majority of flies I use are on a #2.

Anyways,
I think that some of our fellow swappers are a bit confused. Snook will eat anything from a #4-1/0 baitfish pattern. White, black n purple, and tan are extremely popular colors. If you do a blurple one I would say to definitely throw a weed guard on it, since that color will almost always be used in the backcountry aka snag city. Don't be shy to ask any questions if you have any
