  1. These flies work great of the beaches on the east coast of Vancouver Island. JR’s Euphausiid (Krill) light and dark pink. they should be fished with a floting line and an Airflo clear intermediate sinking poly sinking leader 6 lb. tippet for pinks and 8 lb. for coho. I use a 6 or 7 wt. 9' rod. For pinks cast in front of the school let sink untill fish are close then slow inch retrieve. The streamers are more for Coho same system but faster retrieve normally you are fishing in less than 5 ' of water
