Furled worm

Recommended Posts

This is an awesome fly, one that I got the idea from another video where they tied something similar. I was looking for a blood worm imitation that surf perch would like, and this seemed to do the trick. Its fairly easy to tie, and that tail moves really nicely in the water!

Nice job, looks good and meaty. Here is one I do.

Looks good also! Yeah its meaty, made to mimic the fat blood worms that you fish the surf with. With a different dubbing like yours, its awesome to make some bass worms and what not, I like this furelled technique...

Just tied this one up, this should make an excellent bass fly, I'll probably tie up some smaller ones for surf perch, thanks for the nice easy to follow video mcfly

That one looks super nice! Perfect bass fly, I like the larger hackle also, almost like a furelled tail wooly bugger. Oh hey! That gives me an idea! Haha

Grrr ... FURLED ... not Furelled ... please! <_<

:D

I find this post more irritating than somebody spelling something wrong.

Freaking Internet grammar police give me a break.
