  1. Whats the pricing on the Anvil vise? I am currently considering Nor-vise vs. Renzetti traveler 2200
  2. Thats what I did as well, moved the computer out and set it up on the computer table. Any suggestions on a light? LED vs. flourescent/incandescent?
  3. AH, yes...guess I should have mentioned the slots... The left drawer is actually about 75% of the drawer front and has a small dead space to be able to reach in and place a c-clamp up through the small oval hole in the table. The larger oval hole to the right is a waste hole so that all your extra material can be removed via the small right drawer on the right.
  4. A good buddy just helped me finish up my desktop fly tying station and I am looking for a new vice to go with it. (See attached pics). I am interested in either a used C-clamp Renzetti traveler 2000 or a Nor-vise. Anyone have one for sale that they are dissatisfied with? (I'm used to my rod lathe and that Nor-Vise technique just may work for me ) As far as the attached pics, the desktop itself is bamboo with padauk rails/drawer fronts and lacewood face frame with a small set of drawers that can be removed and taken with you, if needed. The desk itself we designed to be more of a furniture piece and not portable. I would have loved to have legs on a full desk but just did not have the room. This is wide enough for some elbow room and will sit high enough to prevent my usual slouching over the vise. I'm looking forward to finally sitting down to get back into fly tying, as I have just been tying when and if i can, and this website seems to have great resources that will help me do just that! Looking forward to it! Dave D.
