New HMH Vise

Recommended Posts

Did anyone have a chance to see the new HMH Vise at the Somerset show? It's called the TRV which I think stands for true rotary vise and it is offset rotary with LAW like jaws.

It looks like they did a very nice job on it. If they can keep the price to a somewhat reasonable level, I'll bet they'll sell a bunch of them. Made in the USA too!

Regards,

Mark

looks nice, but I agree the stem looks short and the base looks small. I have an HMH spartan and my only criticisms are the same two things.

I bet you can get a c clamp version with a long stem. Use your own pedistal, height issue solved

I think the C clamp stem on a pedestal would make it too tall. Compared to my Renzetti Master Pedestal, the stem looks about 1.5 inches shorter

It looks like the jaws stick out a bit from the base, you could maybe put it up on some books, and give yourself some more room to tie without it impeding... could fix the issue...

AH HA HA HA. Don't fret guys. I'm not going to rant over copying. Because this clearly isn't a total copy. LIKE OTHERS TOTALLY ARE!!. LOL.. I don't think it's as graceful looking as a Law. But at least parts of it are ORIGINAL. FLYTIRE, you made me laugh. Have a great day guys. I'm done.
