Wow!  Evolution at it's finest.  I'm flabbergasted !!!

 

I was awed by this moth ...

Because of the 3-D depth of the pattern.  It looked like support scaffolding.

 

However, those gears are absolutely amazing !!!

Naw ... just looks like a stack of sticks.  And they're huge.  This one, on my Mom-n-law's porch screen, was a good 1.5 inches long.  It's the only one I've ever seen, in person.

Great to see something in the UK for a change too. Most of the new stuff is in some Mongolian bog or alaskan ice shelf.
