Here's a sleek & hi-tech style rod. MHX 9' 3wt with window reel seat, carbon fiber grip, black wraps with metallic silver single turn trim bands.

How’s that grip feel in the hand?
Not the shape but the texture etc....hard,soft,sticky,slick etc

Has a good feel to it. Being finished carbon fiber it is solid feeling but not slick in the least bit. I get that question a lot from people that have never held a CF grip. While it looks like it would be slick, it's actually not slick at all. Extremely light as well.

I have a knife with an unfinished carbon fiber handle or feels great, would make for a nice rod grip.

I really like this rod. It's both simple and high tech looking.
