This winter I happened upon a box containing a vice, tools, and materials for saltwater flies at the recycle shack at the dump! I swear I had tears in my eyes when I saw it. I've tied a couple of big flashy flies with it and I'm here to learn how to tie more!
My short term tying goals: to learn to tie trout flies - nymphs and dries,
and to tie enough of all kinds to donate a bunch to Casting for Recovery.

I live in a wonderful place that's close to alot of fishing opportunity. My two water passions are flyfishing and kayaking, and I garden too. Anything outside and barefoot is good!
