Cabela's also has some good sale prices on Reddington RS2 and GD fly reels. Does anyone out there have any good info on these reels? I'm looking for a reel for an 8 wt rod for bass and light saltwater and wondered how these reels do. My main concern is how the drag holds up on long runs for saltwater fish.

I have RS2 9/10 and it is good for salmon. I would not take it near the salt. No idea about GD dunno.gif .
