  4. QUOTE (Graham @ Mar 11 2005, 09:36 PM) Welcome BridgeMountain, Glad you joined. I'm wondering if much Reindeer hair is used for tying in Lapland. That's a product I don't have, just wondering how it compares to typical deer hair. Lapland sounds like an exotically beautiful place to fish. Graham I haven`t tried reindeer I don´t know but they say that the quality is not good enough for flytying. My neighbour have a reindeer in the garden, maybe i can try anyway and then tell you if it´s working good.
  5. QUOTE (DFix @ Mar 11 2005, 03:35 PM) QUOTE (BridgeMountain @ Mar 11 2005, 03:04 AM) ... The winter here with snow and ice is a pain for a flyfisher. It starts in October and if you are lucky it ends in the end of May. Kinda tough aiming for that little hole in the ice, huh? Welcome. The hole is about 15cm/diameter, yes it is tough

  7. My name is Johan Broberg and I am from Kiruna, Lapland Sweden. I live here with my wife and two kids. My passion for flyfishing and flytying was so strong that I started a little shop for flytiers. The winter here whith snow and ice is a pain for a flyfisher. It starts in Octber and if you are lucky it ends in the end of May...Plenty of time for flytying though . The reward is a fantastic summer whith billions of mosqitos and great fishing. Mvh.
