I have a St. Croix rod that I love and recently the guide ring on the tip top came out. Now I know that there probably isn't much i can do to get the ring back into the eye and keep it there but I thought I would ask anyway. I haven't had much luck removing the tip top before or other guides for that matter. Any tips would be appreciated. A second part to that would be do they make a tip top that the ring doesn't come out or it doesn't have a removable ring. I seem to always find a way to remove the guide ring.
