A quick, morning trip to the pond across the street.  Nothing big, but an enjoyable couple of hours, with a few minutes of sunfish and little bass that wanted cameos on a video.

Just after dark, dodging the snakes and mosquitos finally paid off. Personal best large mouth on the fly, approx 4-5lbs

Thanks Mike, had a gar swim up and tag the fly three times and thought for sure he nailed it good when I was happily surprised with this bass.

Very colorful rainbows in your neck of the woods. Very nice. What's all the blue in the bottom of the second and third picture?

Autumn trout fishing in New England-  I headed out with a 7' 3" 3 weight to target the local Brook Trout.  Here in Massachusetts the native jewels don't generally get very big but they are by far my favorite species.  A small Brown and small Atlantic Salmon got fooled trying to beat the Brookies to a meal.  Were still waiting for the rain to raise the river enough for the adult Salmon to run.  I was also fortunate to land 3 Rainbows including a really nice one on a #14 Royal Wulff. (He must have a weakness for the classics too?)  That was a tough fish to land on light tackle in heavy current but thankfully my knots and patience held.
