  1. I have fished it a lot. It was prettier before they flooded it a couple of yeaars ago. I have had good luck nymphing up by the gate release at the headwaters. Black zebra midges, pt. Hares ear, etc. down further can be tricky to walk. Same flies will work. The further down you go there are some slow pools that you can swing olive wollybugers thru. There is a lot of silt in that lower area before you get to the access bridge. It can be like quicksand so plan for it. It's been overfished recently (past 6 years) so most of us Okies go to Ark to fish, there still in there so have fun.
  2. I love my Nor-Vise. I've had it for 7 years and have never looked back.
  3. I have had one for several years. This will be my last vise. I use all the functions, tie 1-24 hooks in the standard jaws. The flys stay held together better than any other vise I have used, and they catch fish, that's the reason I tie.
  4. I have used one for the past 6 years. When I first got it I remember telling myself to go ahead and make the plunge. I had used Griffens, Renzetis, Danvise, in short, looking for the perfect vise. Once I learned how to use the vise and its acc. I will never go back to the old. I have tied everything in every size (02-24) and have always been amazed at how versatile this vise is. You have to decide to "get out of the box", and once you have you will be extremely pleased.
  5. I use a Nore-Vise. I love the weight so the spinning is so easy.
