SBPatt 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2015 Tied here as a hydropsyche; change colors to suit your needs. hook - Dai Riki 135 #16 thread - MFC 8/0 sand rib - Krystal Flash pearl body - squirrel, hare's ear, fluff from base of pheasant rump feather (pretty much any gamebird feather would work) thorax - pheasant aftershaft/filoplume antennae - mallard dyed woodduck mash barb, start thread, tie in rib, wrap back to bend dub thread, dub body counterwrap rib; tie off/trim prep aftershaft feather unwind thread to remove any twist, split with bodkin insert aftershaft, spin bobbin, moisten/stroke back and wrap stroke down/back, take a few wraps back tie in antennae; trim butts whip, SHHAN Regards, Scott Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
