That's why the only fly that says patent pending next to it is my Finbait fly not the fish skull and if u knew what a process patent covered u know that it has nothing to do with the structure of the fly its the process used to make it . So paint all the fish skulls u want and sell them for a penny if it makes u happy because the Finbait fly is only available at Catalina Fly Company and where on here did I post anything for sell ? That's why I have a website and have them in several stores in California where I have a name in the fishing industry and have work for more then 20 years .so ill be alright thanks for your concern.

  3. I fish halibut in the spring when the water gets 62 they move into the bays and harbors in good numbers i catch 50 or so a year my largest so far is 40 inches . I float tube for them and use 8 and 10 weights with 350 and 400 grain lines and smelt patterns tyed with fish skulls . Anyone in so cal that wants to fish let me know
  4. Thanks for the comments guys, ive been tying these for five years and I make them in 24 colors im really into painting up the fish skull heads right now but ill post more of these soon I have three sizes also 6" 4" 2 1/2" .
