  1. Put me down for an olive Large please. Thanks
  2. Sweet shirt. Im in for a large w/ a logo on front
  3. Id have to say nymphs for the most part. I like that I have to "imagine" or have the confidence that my fly is where it's supposed to be.
  4. Hey everybody! Im new to the site and have never really posted on any boards before, but everybody here seemed pretty cool and damn good tiers. I have made a few posts and am starting to navigate the site more (as I have just found this intro part of the site). I am from Pittsburgh (obviously) but have been fly fishing and tying for about 6 years and dont really care what I catch, as long as it's on the fly. Well, just wanted to introduce myself and hope to post more soon! Gotta go, here comes my boss, oh no.............

    Way off topic!

I have heard good things in terms of being able to trade them in and get a new car every few years (and not incur massive repair costs). However, I think the biggest downside is that if you go over that mileage (and from what I understand it is easy to do), it sucks to have leased a car. This was two friend's experiences', one good and one bad, with their leased cars.
  6. I take the barbs off of all of my flies. I feel you harm the fish less because there is less metal going in and out of the fishes mouth, plus local trout regs. I do for bass because some of the patterns that I use, the fish take them deeply and I worry about injuring a fish (I killed one trying to get the fly out, so I started pinching them then). I do for steelhead becuase the possibility of fouling the fish. Above all, I have also buried flies into my hand and had to do the mono loop trick to get them out. I find it easier to just take them all off!
