This Educational video was produced in 2011 and highlights the search for the winter stonefly in the Month of January on some local Michigan rivers and creeks. There are also some fish species collected as well. Enjoy! http://vimeo.com/search?q=a+winter+stonefly+search

The following video shows the egg fly and an easy way to tie it. The only issue here is that if not cut right you will dull your scissors. Please excuse the focus of the final product but I can assure you that they do come out almost perfectly round. Enjoy this fly-tying tutorial. http://youtu.be/JxNPtVvThm4

Been tying this mini streamer/stone for the last few seasons. It has been a real producer on our local water for steelhead. I tie it in sizes 8 through 12. Hope it brings much success for all anglers!

This is a modified version of the KR Stone with thoracic gills.

Thank you! Yes, black and olive seems to be a deadly combo for sure.

I came up with this caddis pattern many years ago and fish it primarily for steelhead and salmon. A real buggy body with a small beard in the throat.

This 'Chunky Monkey' is a close relative of the 'Holy Hare'. First pictured is the 'Chunky Monkey' and second pic is the "Holy Hare'.
