TimR 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2004 I posted already in the lodge section but this post is my introduction I reckon. Anyway here goes. I am 14 and I live in Northeastern North Carolina. I turn 15 in April. I havnt been doing alot of fishing lately due to the hunting seasons and the cold weather. I have been fishing with rod and reel ever since I remember and just started getting into fly fishing. I love fishing and hunting. I like fishing more but hunting is right behind it. I like Dodge and Ford Trucks. I like Spinning Reels for fishing with lures, Baitcasters for fishing with bait for big fish, and of corse fly rods. I mainly fish ponds and saltwater and occasionally the rivers. I hunt whitetailed deer, black bear, wild turkey, bobwhite quail, doves, ducks, geese, swans, rabbits, and just about anything else that I can manage to get in one season. My favorite out of the bunch is ducks and geese. I like Bolt Action Rifles and Pump Action Shotguns the best. I do like a good ol Over and Under shotgun for birds though. Around here in NC there is a tradition of running deer and bear with hounds. I have to say it is fun but it isnt my cup of tea so to speak. We used to be in a club that ran dogs but now we are in a still hunting club. I took 4 deer this year including my first buck that was a nice 7 pointer. Since I started hunting when I was 6 I have taken 5 deer and have yet to get a bear so I dont know how that worked out LOL.
