Just starting to pick up the items i need to begin tying.   I am 39 and have been fly fishing since my late teens, recently gotten into bamboo rods, and hopefully tying next.  Currently live in NJ and have wild trout within 5-10 minutes in a few different directions.   I am probably not going to be posting all much as i am going to be doing a lot of reading in the beginning.

Welcome to the site, NJ.  You started with modern materials ... then went to bamboo ... now going into tying.  Stepping back in time with each progression !!!

Lots ... and LOTS ... and even more LOTS of stuff to read on here.  Don't hesitate to do some tying and post a few pictures.  Gives you a reference of what you USED to tie ( in a few months), and us a chance to see what's up if you ask for help.
