Yeah, I bought mine off Amazon, several years ago, for about $50.  I'd probably be willing to sell mine for the $900+ they show as the current price....

Got a copy off ebay for $80 friday with that 20% off everything sale, got an Aimpoint PRO for $330 too. Look forward to getting both.
Now I feel I should tie a hairwing with a beard after taking this thread off course

Fly tyers sure have a way at making things difficult

 

Why do you look at a persons profile after they make a post?

Idk what to call it but it's silver tinsel, red wire, gray squirrel tail and partridge feathers, tied beard style

The only (slight) criticism that I might have is that I'd prefer to see the head go back as far on the underside of the as it does on the top.  Easily accomplished if you add the beard before the wing.

 

Otherwise, that's a mighty nice looking fly!
