  1. I'm just checking to see if all of the orders have been sent as of now. Don't think that I'm rushing it, as I now how hard it is to put these things together and appreciate you doing it. I'm just a little worried that they may have been lost in the email. Thanks! DC
  2. 1x Large in Blue Dusk 1x Large in Dark Chocolate Thanks
  3. First attempt at making a rattling crab fly. I would make the hook a little smaller (didn't have a size 1 or 2), but it turned out pretty well as it sits upright and makes a lot of noise.
  4. A new addition to the fly pattern database has been submitted by DCBuckeyeguy77: DC Rattle Crab
  5. I'd also add that if you use the T&A version of that fly, you can have a true subsurface fly because of the woolhead.
  6. Would you be willing to do a tutorial for that fly? It looks amazing, but I'm not really able to follow from the pattern. Thanks!
  7. Can't take credit for the photo, but i can for the fly. This is my variation of one of Kelly Galloup's streamers and was my entry into the 2008 Fly Tier of the Year Contest that won me Rookie of the Year It's by far my favorite looking fly (other than Salmon flies), so I thought i would share.
  8. A new addition to the fly pattern database has been submitted by DCBuckeyeguy77: DC's T&A Rainbow
  9. I don't think anyone mentioned it, but big Flashtail Whistlers work great inland. I fish these here on Lake Murray with good success. Here's the recipe from off the top of my head... not sure if its exactly right. Hook: 60-90 degree Jig Hook Weight: Lead wrapped behind a set of beadchain eyes Wing/Tail (Bottom to top): White Kinky Fiber, Pearl Flashabou, Lavender Kinky Fiber, Yellow Krystal Flash, Couple of pieces of green flashabou, White Kinky Fiber Throat/Gills: Red Saddle Fibers Collar: Red chenille with hackled Red and White Saddle Feathers This recipe is kind of like a "Sexy Shad" color scheme, but heres some pictures of more generic ones.
  10. I actually dont even add the hackle a lot of times. I usually just use crystal chenille, and it seems like i catch more fish without it.
  11. mine should ship tomorrow. Sorry i took so long
  12. Quill Gordons, March Browns, Blue quills, BWOs (16-22), and maybe some sulphurs for the SoHo if you go there... others: black crystal bugger, PT, Prince, March Brown nymph, and GRHE nymph/softhackle
  13. Got my package today and I was not expecting that many hooks, heh. I thought that bottle was empty at first, then i shook it and i heard a faint sound.... size 32 just blows my mind. I'm thinking i need to buy me one of those danvises because i broke the vise that came with my starter kit a long time ago. The jaws are all chipped and they have a hard time even holding a size 8, let a lone a 32. Anyways, thanks again Futzer and judges for running this contest and to everyone who pitched in to give prizes. I'm sure we all appreciate it.
