Hello
I am a new member from Lancashire in England. I have recently started salmon fishing on the river Eden in Cumbria (the lake district of England). It is a great river for Salmon, Sea trout, Grayling and wild brown trout. Our season here has just started and I am eager for others to send some inspiration my way for new fly patterns that may get me that fish of a lifetime.
I am a keen fly tyer and have just finished tying some copper tube flies for my box. I am particularly after a pattern for a scandanavian fly called the "Francis Shrmp" which is a carrot shaped fly with long feelers. Also I am going to try a waking surface fly for grilse and sea trout this year, so any patterns for these would be gratefully recieved.
I Also work in a local tackle shop so if I can be of any help to anybody regards tackle or advice do not hesitate to e-mail me!!!
