  1. I tryed with the flash both on and off. either to dark or way to light. Any suggestions?
  2. Hey Guys. I was given a caddis patern and I can only figure out 2 of 3 materials on the fly. I know the fly is tyed with clear mono, and the there is some peacock hearl pulled up the length of the hook (paralell to the shank) and the thorax is also peacock hearl, the body is a shiny green material not chenile. Any suggestions what else the body material could be. Also not important but it is tyed on a #8 scud hook.
  3. Sounds good guys, thanks for the advice, makes alot of sense.
  4. I'd like to get some hackle. Do I get a cape or Saddle and what colours to start with?
  5. Here are a couple of videos that were passed on to me by another member. Cheers Matarelli style :- Non-Matarelli style :-
  6. I put fly tying down for awhile and am really rusty. But time does make us better. The more you do it the better you'll get. as long as you believe you can, than you will.
  7. Thanks guys, I checked out both of your links and they were very helpful. Keep tight line
  8. Does anyone have some quick and easy instructions on how to use a whip finisher?
