SBPatt 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2017 Jason Hartwick's take on a standard; swapped pheasant rump for pheasant tail fibers on the wing. hook - Dai Riki 899 #6 thread - Danville 6/0 black tag - tinsel small gold tail - teal flank rib - oval tinsel gold body - floss black hackle - black collar - guinea wing - pheasant rump mash barb, start thread, wrap to point; tie in tinsel, wrap to barb and back, tie off/trim measure (tips to bend) some teal flank; tie in/trim tie in rib tie in floss; wrap body, tie off/trim tie in hackle, wrap to tail capture hackle tip with rib, continue thru to front; tie off/trim prep guinea, tie in by tip; wrap, tie off/trim prep pheasant rump (2 used here); measure (tips to bend) tie in; these ended up a bit long so I pulled them forward (keeping tension on the thread) until they were the proper length tie off/trim, whip finish, SHHAN Regards, Scott Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
