I'm kind of worried Bob. I keep reading you caption of "trout flies only" and I'm afraid the flies I tied will also get eaten by Whitefish, suckers, Bluegills, carp, and other bug eating fish. I really can't figure out a trick to keep only trout eating them and wonder if it's still okay for your swap?

Bryon Anderson has requested to drop out.  He has been replaced by a long time member, Professori.  He's tying some Bead-Head Pheasant Tail Soft Hackles

I almost stopped out so professori could have my spot as I still haven't decided what to tie, but I wanted to stay in to bad, glad it worked out.

A lot of my stuff is still packed up after our move last June. Some “friends” from my old place promised to help me insulate and put up OSB board on the walls and ceiling of the garage at our new place. After we moved, they said it was too much work and I would have to insulate the walls myself. And they would help with the ceiling. So I moved enough of the stuff we had stored in the garage to do a section at a time in the heat of the Summer and insulated the walls by myself. But when I got that finished, they backed out on me altogether. They never did come. A friend here has been helping me 3 hours a week when it wasn’t raining, but we have had an extremely rainy Winter. The ceiling is about 1/4 done and I did a part of 2 walls by myself. All that to say that I haven’t been able to find a lot of my dubbing. I want to tie a Hendrickson emerger, but I don’t have the dubbing I’m looking for. Can someone suggest a substitute for Hendrickson dubbing? Something I could find at Sportsman’s Warehouse would be great.

Thanks

Bb I think I might have some ftd dubbing that would work, although I'm sure sportsmans has something as well they are usually well stocked.

Thanks, Vicente. I happen to be near a Bass Pro Shop for a couple of days. Let me check there. If they don’t have it, I can check Sportsman’s next week. I will let you know. How does FTD do now about getting their orders out? I haven’t dealt with them in a good long while.

If you can spare a bit of what you have, please send it on. I will be tying a #14 and I only need to dub the bodies of the flies.

I did my 3 car garage by myself, fully insulating and sheetrock taping. I did the ceiling but was lucky enough to have a friend who had sheetrock lift for that. Piece of cake with that though moving ladder and working overhead with heavy drill got old. I also built a divider wall with a door to separate my three car garage into a two car garage with a one car workshop and motorcycle garage. Insulated that and had many a great party in the winter in the two car part and insulation and even cutting insulation for door made a great, easy to heat party room. Of all the things I miss from moving down from MN it's friends, great fishing, and my garage.
