Not sure if there's an ether leak at the factory but they do have some interesting patterns. Change colors/size to suit your needs.

 

hook - Dai Riki 280 #8

underbody - non-tox .030

thread - Danville 6/0 black

tail - biots gold

rib - oval tinsel gold

abdomen - dubbing cream

thorax - Ice Dub hot orange

wing - pheasant rump dyed brown (I think they used partridge but I'm having fun with the pheasant)

 

 

mash barb, wrap front half of shank with non-tox; start thread, wrap to bend, create thread bump

measure (gap width past bend) a pair of biots; tie in tight to thread bump to splay, trim
