1) That looks good just the way it is. If it qualifies as a "Game Changer, then it's good to go! But ...
2) All the "Game Changers" I've seen have been trimmed down to a slimmer profile. Yours looks like it hasn't been trimmed, yet.

I would assume that you should trim it to the profile of the baitfish your fish chase. For broad baits that would do well. How does it act in the water?
Don't know yet. Haven't had a chance to wet it yet.
