  1. size 16 pt spent, i like grayling fishing... October caddis... body and wings, its simmilar as goddard caddis, but made with polypropilene in v loop...its highly boyant and fish slime is easily washed out...but inevitable life giving cdc is there for legs well grannom is not realy an october fly but it works well bwo... emerger sorry for poor quality of photos...its phone camera
  2. Thanks a lot flafly To be honest, i am a bit lazy. I am doing all over the phone so it was easier for me to do it this way.... i will post sth there
  3. big one, october caddis, size 10. Body is my blend of everything.... wings are snowshoe
  4. Well Rocco, kafana is stil a place to go and watch pretty girls. And my family make prepetchenica i am a big fan of it
  5. Hi all, i got my hands on some cheap yet very good hooks. They are barbless with spearpoint. Size 16 Here are some ideas i came with. Pt nymph with some cdc BWO My favourite klinkhammer with uv ice dub tan Shuttlecock Egg laying caddis Well, when one have too much free time than something like this sees the day Idea is that tippet is above water at least 1cm in front of the fly. Hook is not for dries but who cares
  6. Well Rocco i am amazed how many historical details you remember its a shame we cant sit down and talk i could learn a lot. Especcially because you have different perspective so i think you may be more objective
  7. @Adam, you are welcome @ Rocco, these are classic Bosnian style flies. Even today, people from remote places tie theit own flies directly in hands, while fishing. They carry few feathers and threads, depending on the hatch they tie flie. What you have is part of history. Owl feather fly is well known even today, and still is fish catcher they call it "sovijak" another famous fly is krejica first one is mine, second i dont know, size 16 or 18 mostly
  8. artridge is oversized because of the action it gives... sometimes fly lands like umbrella on the surface. if you put some floatant on tail it lands normally. but i put floatant only on hackle. i am glad you enjoyed pics. i try to go out as much as i can. here, on open waters, without some special regulations, people tend to kill every fish. I once wittnesed a man taking a lot of small fish in net, after he finished, he just emptied net on the grass. and grayling from clean river is delicious.... as trout is too. chub is considered to be tasteless, but just before winter, in clean river its tasty too. here in serbia, every fish is eaten. i love fish, just choose correct recepie for the specie its not subject of the topic, but mainly carnovourus fish is more tasty than those grass eaters, ot bottom feeders. every animal we consume is better tasting if its fed with natural food
  9. Tonight on the meny is Rzav. Maybe my favourite river. Unfortunatelly people destroyed fish by taking every fish they catch. Now success is to catch 10 fish a day. Grayling was introducet in 70s, it accomodated so well that it outnumbers trout now. One of rzavs grayling characteristics is that it takes pretty large flies here, 12-10. It can only be found in strongest riffles, white water.... classic spot for grayling
