Notional tying sequence, but looking at pics on the interweb it's not too hard to figure out; change colors to suit your needs.
hook - Dai Riki 300 #14
thread - MFC 6/0 purple
shuck - Congo Hair brown
rib - x-small wire silver
abdomen - holo tinsel purple
thorax - Ice Dub black peacock
head - dubbing Hare's Ear
underwing - deer hair
legs - medium rubber brown
wing - Congo Hair white
overwing - 1mm foam white
mash barb, start thread at 1/2 mark
tie in CH and rib; wrap to bend and back
tie in tinsel, wrap to shuck and back; tie off/trim
counterwrap rib, helicopter end, cover with thread; trim shuck (shank length)
tie in foam strip over eye
repeat with CH
dub thread/dub thorax
clean a clump of deer hair; trim butts, measure (halfway down the abdomen), tie in
pull wing to the rear, over the head and tie down
repeat with the foam
tie in legs (feel free to dub these wraps, as seen on tv; seems like a waste of time to me)
whip finish, SHHAN, trim legs, wing and overwing

Nice tutorial. I've tied similar patterns, and none of them have floated.
I like how this one looks, so I might try it.
Barbed hooks rule!
