Reel Recovery help

Recommended Posts

Just heard from Reel Recovery. They have 10 trout and 6 warmwater retreats left this year.

They need flies. Can you help? 14 participants in each retreat.

The flies for warmwater are for bass and panfish. 14 participants in each retreat.

You can use patterns that you catch fish on.

The director said they need about 2000 flies for all the retreats.

Google Reel recover for the mailing address.

@RickZieger...I see an event in September in NC,which is where I am located. Is there a way to donate flies for that specific retreat? i'm assuming that since its in Spruce Pines, it is either a Trout or Smallmouth Bass retreat, correct?

from reel recovery, They will take any flies.

List had Adams, PTN. Stimulators, Copper Johns, Elk Hair Caddis. BWO, PMD, Humpies,Prince, Hares Ears,

Terrestrials, Hoppers, Streamers, Wooly Buggers, Midges.

Poppers were listed, but any warmwater fly would work as most folks don't know about them.

Grandkids head home next week and I get my tie room back. I'll send them a box of flies they can go through for their outings.
