I recommend the anvil atlas if you can afford it rock solid great quality not to expensive.

You use vise grip pliers for a vise, rig up something to hold them or put them in a vise.

How does a vise go splat and the lever missing? Clamp vise grips to a table, use hemostats, fix the vise or buy another. They can be had for less then 20 bucks.

What kind of vise? What lever? Considering how desperate you sound, a bit more info might be helpful.

Scott

I think he wants somebody to give him a vise.

June 7 is 4 days away. Unless the next door neighbor has one, USPS wont be much help.

Go to your friend at Bass Pro that helped you start tying flies to begin with. Depending on how long you've had the vice, it might still be under warranty. (if something broke).

He might also be able to loan you one until you can afford to buy another.

Good luck!
