A Great Fly Tyer died

Recommended Posts

I just learned that Mark Noble of the Greased Line fly shop died. Mark died in March after suffering from a stroke. He invented the "After Dinner Mint", a Steelhead fly, which was his most famous fly. He tied a lot of Muddle variations. He was mentioned in Trey Coombs book, and was widely known in the Northwest. I had moved from the NW and had lost touch. He helped me a lot as I started out fly fishing up there. A real loss to the sport.
