Might lose it to a tree or fish, but you won't have to tie on a new one in the dark because it stopped floating. hook - Dai Riki 135 #6 thread/rib - UTC 140 hopper yellow core/shuck - Congo Hair brown tail - moose body hair body - 1mm foam tan body hackle - grizzly (undersize by 2) front hackle - brown/grizzly mix wing - deer hair mash barb, start thread at mid-point tie in a loop of CH clean, stack, measure (2x hook length) some moose body hair; tie in, hook CH loop onto the gallows wrap moose halfway up the core and back down tie in foam strip (1/3 gap width) brush underbody with Super Glue, wrap to base of tail (adjust tension for desired thickness) brush on a little more Super Glue and wrap back down; tie off/trim tie in body hackle spiral thread up body palmer hackle to tail, capture tip with thread and continue rib to base of body; trim hackle tip trim shuck tie in front hackles wrap hackles (leave 1 eye width up front for wing tie-in); tie off/trim clean, stack, measure (tips to base of tail) a clump of deer hair; tie in, half hitch x 2, SHHAN trim out hackle underneath Regards, Scott Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
