  1. I have the Echo 2 they come with 2 tips and a case for about 250. The TFO TICR-X is about 220 no case. Both are good rods. For reels it is hard to beat an Orvis Mid Arbor for 109.
  2. I use a binder bag. It holds all my salt water streamers and bags can be readily added.
  3. Semi Seal Leach great fly. Pretty much can catch any species on it. John Rohmer of Arizona Fly Fishing makes that. If you like the Semi Seal material try the Diamond Hair material. Both are great. Here in AZ when we go to Rocky Point the Diamond Hair Minnow may even work better than Clousers.
  4. I use two different vises for the flies you are referring a Renzetti Master and a Renzettin Salt water travellor. Both work great. The master is better for small midges like 24's for tailwaters.
  5. Shrug I read nothing into other than he hit it twice. One or multiple there is no more emphasis in the English language.
  6. Try looking for Vernile Its pretty cool stuff. Ultra Braid
  7. I use a binder for my clousers and such for fresh water and salt. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/s...t=SearchResults
  8. Sea Level Fly Fishing Dan Blanton
  9. Well for the species they list you are going to want a 10#. When I head down to Mexico I take 8#, 10#, 12#, and a 14#. I have an assortment of Echo 2 and TFO TiCrX. They run about $240. For reels you can go with sealevel flyfishing and pick up the Tempest reel. It was discontinued, but they are selling it for half price about $175. The TFO Terry Hayden reels are very nice also. The charters on their website only talk about spin fishing, so the guides probably don't know much about fly fishing. For flies clousers in Chartruese and White, blue and white, and shrimp patterns. Gotchas and crazy charlies work great also.
  10. Thanks for the nvite, but there is no way I could get some flies tied by that date. I am a CPA and am buried ATM.
  11. What makes you say that? :dunno: 420 is the national pot day. It was a disguised joke. :hyst:
  12. Is this swap only for potheads?
  13. You actually should toe tag all your flies in a swap so people know who and which fly you tied. So yes the flies should be labeled, but that is covered in the rules everyone in a swap should read. That pinned crap at the top
  14. Well Lucky has been nick name since high school. no it wasn't because of that. My last name is Lucht. Lucky was taken so I used the same numbers I always do when Lucky is taken.
