SBPatt 0 Report post Posted August 25, 2017 The multi hi-tie Hedgehog wing conveniently fit within the segmented Rogue chassis. 1mm foam might be a bit thin for this application; may try it with standard 2mm. hook Dai Riki 280 #6 thread/body - UTC 140 tan body/head - 1mm foam tan wing - deer hair legs - medium rubber corn snake indicator - 1mm foam orange fold foam strip (not quite gap width), trim rear at an angle to create tapered rear of body fold, insert needle; mount needle in vise, start thread pull foam forward, take a couple wraps of thread to create 1st segment pull foam back, split the uprights with thread, take a few more wraps create next segment one more time; half hitch x 2, SHHAN on the wraps, slide it off the needle mash barb, start thread, wrap to point above barb lay foam on the shank, tie on hook with a few firm wraps pull foam back, clean, stack, measure (tips past bend) a clump of deer hair; trim and tie in pull foam forward; tie down repeat tie in legs one more time pull foam back, wrap to eye; pull foam forward, tie down, wrap back to base of wing pull foam back, tie down, trim tie down legs tie down indicator whip finish, SHHAN, trim legs Regards, Scott Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
