First post - been tying for about three years now. Anyone know the correct way to use leech yarn? I bought some a while back in an attempt to replicate a killer leech pattern that I had bought at a fly shop somewhere . . . but it's not working out. The material looks like it has great potential but I've been wrapping it around the hook like chenile and that tends to lay down most of the hairs. I've tried picking it back out with a bodkin or a comb but it still looks like crap. What's up with this stuff? Thanks in advance.
