Guest Report post Posted January 25, 2005 I like it better than chenille too. Tie in 3 to 5 pieces, twist and palmer.
Thibodeau 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2005 Thats what I did a couple of years a go when I went grocie shopping with my wife. Its to the point that I can't go anywhere without saying. Hey I could use that for my desk or for tying some fly.
GHow 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2005 Probably cheaper than the $4.00 bucks you pay for one packaged feather. I love the stuff for long tails when marabou just doesn't cut it. Dornug, Another tyer on the board has a jointed body damsel pattern with a two tone spun ostrich body wrap. Great fly but I never bookmarked it and I can't find it again. Maybe if he see's this he can link it to this post. Great look to it...
Guest Report post Posted January 26, 2005 Never thought of doing a two tone. Now you have me thinking.
