Pics of gamakatsu c12-bm?

Recommended Posts

Anyone have any pics of a gamakatsu c12-bm compared to something else like a daiichi 1110 to get a size/scale comparison

The current Gami C12-BM Stock # 277497-25 is a barbless midge big eye hook. The Daiichi 1100 is a a big eye hook also, but that is where the similarity ends. The Daiichi is a straight shank where the Gami is curved. I have both hooks in size 26 and the Daiichi shank length is about 2-2 1/2 times longer than the Gami, but that is a judgment call because of the different shank shapes.

Sorry for the mixup. I just started tying but I have been using daiichi 1110 hooks for ice jigs and just bare hooks so I have some around. I'm looking for a pic with a c12-bm next to another hook to see how small they actually are. Like say a c12-bm next to a size 20 dry fly or what ever you might have

Gami on top and Daiichi on bottom. Both size 26 in the exact styles you requested.

Thanks fin. I was wondering how small the gamakatsu 30 is but that pic helps

Robbor,

Can't help you with the 30. But he's a 26 and a 28. Both C12-BM
