Peddler 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2005 My kid gave me a nice bodkin for Christmas last year and during the year she managed to bend the very tip of it somehow. It is now one of the most useful tools on my bench! I can do everything I always did with it, like clean eyes out, but the tiny hook on the end is VERY handy for things like picking stray hairs out finish wraps and plucking loose deer hair out of hair stackers. I also find myself using it for undoing the half-hitches I use when messing up something tied rotary.
Guest Report post Posted February 14, 2005 LoL! I too have a long needle with a bent tip that i use all the time for undoing a loop in a granny weave.I bent that tip trying to get the needle out of the hook eye that i was trying to push the head back off the eye. vices 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2005 I got my little hook tool, out of the GF's highlight kit... originally for pulling the hair through a little hole in the cap, to single out the hair to be dyed.. she said i could have it if I helped highlight her hair, It was worth it..
