Feather Emporium; Honest?? Anybody Using Them?
Fishingeek replied to Harold Ray's topic in The Fly Tying Bench
Another very happy customer with FE. I have made multiple purchases from David and have had no problems. My only problem with his site is that I always spend more than I intended because he has lots of cool stuff I don't find in the local shops. I will definitely continue to be a customer. And his site is great feather porn.... Geek -

I was enjoying the new flycraft catalog before my pitbull puppy got to it. Be so glad when she hits 2 and stops chewing everything...

I occasionally tie a fly here or there, lol.

I like to use a golden stone. This one uses lead tape that is flattened out and a coffee colored tungsten bead. Geek

Count me in as another happy customer of Henry's product. Just about all the bugs on the right side of the box use the coating and my first bottle is still half full. Geek

Another chironomid using an anti-static bag. The static interference:

All I'm saying is that some are willing to spend big on new rods and reels but don't put money in the vice. As long as you are happy with your setup than any other opinions really don't matter!

Lots of guys have no problem dropping $1200 on a new rod and reel but won't spend more than $150 on a vice. In reality, you will probably spend more time at the vice than fishing the fancy new rod. Spend the money once and you will have a great vice that will last you lifetime. I went with the Master and don't regret it one bit. Like everyone else is saying, if it's worth it to you than it is worth whatever vice you spend your hard earned money on.
