Quigley’s Cripple Parachute (variation) SBS

A few minor changes to the original. Tied here as a PMD; the synth wing is much more manageable in smaller sizes like this. Just playing around with some ideas; this probably won't be the last iteration.

 

 

hook - WFC Model 3 #16

thread - MFC 8/0 cream

tail - pheasant tail

shuck - sparkle yarn brown

rib - x-small wire copper

abdomen - pheasant tail

wing/wingpad - Congo Hair baitfish tan

thorax - dubbing pale yellow

hackle - ginger

 

mash barb, start thread, tie in rib, wrap to bend

strip some pt fibers, measure (gap width), tie in
