Fellow Long Rodders,

Last week, my wife and I were in Ashville, NC for vacation. Wetsern NC is a wonderful place to spend time in the outdoors as well as providing plenty of indoor activities too. Anyway, after researching the web for a guided wade fishing trout trip, I choose Altamont Anglers. I made the right choice.

Altamont Anglers provided door to door transportation, a first for me. Besides travel to the spot, lunch, and eight hours of stream time were included in the two hundred dollar fee. Teo Whitlock, my guide, is a twenty-something guiding machine. Fish spotting, casting advice, and a great personality to boot. Just in case you are wondering, plenty of fish.

If you plan to be in Western NC and want a great time, look these fellows up.
