tidewaterfly 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2017 Very nice! I tied a lot of them in my younger days, not so much now as I concentrate more on bass or saltwater species now. But, appreciate a nice looking wet fly! You're doing great with them IMO! I have an old pattern book with a color plate of various wet flies, which is what got me interested in them. The book was published back in the late 60's or early 70's. They still catch fish. When I did fish for trout, I progressed more to soft hackle wets, but always carried some of older wet flies with me for good luck. Coachman, Leadwing Coachman, Brown & Gray Hackle Peacock, and Cowdung were some I had success with. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
